Camping in the Kangaroo Valley

The Kangaroo Valley is about 150 kms from Sydney. The perfect place for going camping on the weekend. We found a nice space, close to the river and started a settlement.

There we were, ready for the night...

Some other campers had found the place too, but it was far from being crowded.

We haven't seen any kangaroo in Kangaroo Valley. But as the night was falling down, sleepy wombats started to go out of their holes.

This one was not scared at all. He was too busy eating the grass around.

And it went on and on the whole night... no need to cut the grass here!

In the morning, the valley was covered by mist... The river and all the animals were waking up little by little...

It was the perfect occasion for a swim...

... and for breakfast!

And then, time to head up to new places...

We passed through a little town...

Walked in the river...

... crossed an old wooden bridge...

And went back to Sydney....
